Description

One-of-a-kind, handmade shadowbox of L. Frank Baum's classic THE WIZARD OF OZ. Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, and the Cowardly Lion take off down the yellow brick road to the wonderful land of Oz in this layered work by The Growing Stage's Artist-in-Residence, Perry Arthur Kroeger. The tableux is encased in a gold-leafed procenium arch, a miniature replica of the stage at The Historic Palace Theatre, where The Growing Stage has resided for the past 25 years. This piece can be hung or left freestanding. Battery operated LEDs light up the scene with a switch at the base! Perfect for the Baum enthusiast or a special treat featured in either a den or child’s room highlighting the universal Oz theme - There’s no place like home!
