Description

8 lithographs of photographs from “In Wildness Is the Preservation of the World,” among the first “coffee table books,” published by the Sierra Club in 1962. Photographer Eliot Porter paired 72 of his groundbreaking color images with quotes from Henry David Thoreau. These eight 10” x 13.5” prints are lithographed in four colors, Kromekoted and lacquered to achieve maximum brilliance and color fidelity. The matching Thoreau quote is printed on the back.
