This Artistic piece “Joyful Elephant” is a Gond Tribal Style of painting designed by Mithlesh Shyam. Gond Art has developed from the very heart of India, Madhya Pradesh. The Gond are a tribal community in India who decorate mud walls and floors with natural colors. The Gond people believe that seeing a good image brings good luck. These paintings have also been used as a way to record their history. Gond art is a traditional tribal art made by dashes and dots. This piece is painted using Acrylic on canvas and is framed. The painting size is 24" x 36".
