André Harvey (1941 - 2018) was an American sculptor whose realistic and contemporary works are primarily cast in bronze using the lost wax method. Harvey worked in the Brandywine Valley, just north of Wilmington, Delaware. He was a Fellow and Board Member of the National Sculpture Society, New York. Over the course of his career he received the National Sculpture Society’s Joel Meissner Award, the Tallix Foundry Award, and the Edith H. and Richman Proskauer Prize for “Non-Traditional Sculpture” He has produced an extensive volume of work which was purchased by numerous public and private collections, and featured in exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
