Nell is from New York City, by way of Black Rock City, and has been living in Petaluma for a year. He went to school for art and then commercial art, but has learned more about creativity from life. Over the last fifteen years, he has been a film photographer, event organizer, creative director of a nationally distributed magazine, graphic designer, branding packager, marketing consultant and all around creative. More recently, he has been exploring muralism and spray paint, and I’ve also been reteaching myself printmaking and color manipulation.
"James always encouraged me to keep approaching art from a different point of view, see it from a different angle. this is one of many pieces i dedicate to him."
