"Fisheye" was photographed by Heidi Pinkerton (Root River Photography). "While the northern lights danced and filled the sky on this moonlit night, I worked with two camera bodies and different lenses, trying my best to capture what was going on around me. Although the lights were not 360˚ that I could see, the display certainly went from the horizon to above my head for over two hours. Even with so much natural light reflecting off the snow, the auroras proved colorful and intense as they lit up the night!" Photographed September 26, 2011 at Birch Lake in Ely, Minnesota. It is printed on metal with a flush mount frame -- a beautiful, modern piece for every home. This photo measures 10 by 20 inches.
