Shakespeare’s psychological thriller, Macbeth, tells the story of an army general who receives a prophecy from three witches that he will one day be the king of Scotland. Compelled by his own ambition, and the influence of his wife, Macbeth will stop at nothing—not even murder—to protect his power.
