Thank you for joining us for our first annual online auction! We have lots of cool items to bid on, so take your time, see what we have to offer, and get some really great items while also supporting high quality music education. So far this school year, our teachers have taught over 400 hours in Athens public schools!

HEART Music is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Athens, GA whose mission is to make the virtues of music education accessible to all communities in Athens-Clarke County, with an emphasis on supporting local public school music programs.

What makes our program important? We hire the highest quality musicians to teach public school students at no cost to the students or schools, and our teaching takes place at school during class time, eliminating financial, transportation and scheduling barriers to music education. Our teachers primarily teach classical style with an emphasis on learning to read music and gaining expertise on a specific instrument. However our teachers are also well versed in other genres and provide instruction in those styles as the opportunity arises. Instruments covered by our program are flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, percussion, violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, and piano. Our teachers are professionals, all having at least a masters degree or equivalent experience, and are equipped to teach beginners through advanced students.
