With the help of generous donors and the local community, Hispañola Health Partners has built a regional medical center including pharmacy, diagnostic laboratory, full time physician and outreach programs for hypertension and cervical cancer prevention. These programs serve about 25,000 subsistence farmers in an area that was previously without medical care. Now the goal is to insure that every mother and every baby has a safe birth with skilled care.
