Welcome to our 16th Annual Vine & Dine Auction and Event

This year, the silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and the final grand prize raffle will be both in-person AND Virtual experiences that will be accessible by your smart devices. However, the live auction experience consisting of an additional 10 fantastic items called by auctioneer Jay Featheringill, wine & beer tasting, heavy scruptious appetizers - three stations, live music by the DIVOTS, emceed by Auctioneer, Jay Featheringill, wine pull, pick-a-prize raffle, chance to win a  70" TV, 4K LG UHDD, a5 Al Processor Gen6 & Sound Pro, Smart, Magic Remote with NFC Giveaway and more . . Get your tickets through this site, through our website or facebook page or at the Huron County Humane Society during open hours.

Online bidding will close at the end of our Live Event on November 11th at approx. 8:45 PM (Those of you that attend the Live Vine & Dine will also be bidding on line through your smart devices) All items will be displayed live at the event.

All proceeds due to your support will benefit Huron County residents and domestic animals who find themselves in need and turn to the services that the Huron County Humane Society can provide. We have been serving the community and domestic animals for 70 years.

Anyone may view our auctions without registering to bid or logging in.

First-time Bidders must register to bid on this auction site. On laptops or desktops, the "Register" button is at the top of this page; on mobile devices, the register link is imbedded in the brown menu icon at the top right of your screen. During your registration process, you may choose to use a screen name which will show up when you place your bids. You may access bidding from your computer, laptop, or mobile phone.

Return Bidders do not have to register again. Just log in to your account.

To View Auction Items:  Click the down arrow next to the "View Items" tab at the top of this page; then click on "All Items" or the specific type of category in which you are interested or, scroll if you are on a mobile device. This takes you to a summary page of the items up for auction. Click on any auction item for more information or to bid. Raffle tickets will also be located here – Under Fund-a-need.

Auction Start/Stop Times:  The auction is open for bidding from NOVEMBER 1st through Saturday, November 11, 2023.  A countdown clock on the bidding page will help you keep track of time remaining before the auction is closed on November 11^th.

Incremental Bids: Increments are defined for bids. The increment is the minimum you must bid over the current high bid. You may bid the amount indicated by the increment or you may bid any amount higher than that increment. That is, if the stated increment is $5, you may bid $5, $12.50 or $25, etc., as you wish. Bids less than the designated increment are not accepted.

Maximum Bids: When the auction opens and after the first bid is placed, bidders may place a "maximum" bid, which is the highest amount you will pay for the item. Our bidding system will continue to place bids for you (i.e., be a proxy for you) until your maximum bid amount is reached. If you wish to continue biding over your maximum bid, you may increase your maximum bid or bid manually. If bidding stops before your maximum bid is reached, you will be awarded the item for the last amount you bid, not your “maximum bid amount”.  Please login periodically to check on your progress during the auction. This is especially important when someone may overbid you when close to the closing time.

Text Notices or Email: You will receive a text notice or email when you have been outbid on an item depending on what you chose during your registration process.

Additional Costs:  Tax will be applied to your winning bid at a rate of 5%. Credit Card Processing Fees: You will be given an option of covering the credit card processing fees which will ensure even more monies going directly to helping us continue our mission.

Paying for Your Win: Auction winners will receive an invoice from Bidding Owl via email directly after the auction ends. Winners who attend the Live Event may also receive a paper invoice at the close out table at the event. If you don't see the invoice in your inbox, check your spam or junk files. Payments must be made at that time through the online auction site (Bidding Owl) through PayPal.  No need to have a PayPal account.

Receiving your items: Winning bid guests who attend the live Vine & Dine Event will pick up their items that night from the display tables. Check under the table to see if there is a box matching your item as packaging. Those of you that bid from home, please pick up your items the next day at the Huron County Humane Society at 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk OH 44857, Sunday, November 13, 2023 from 11:30 am till 1:30 pm.
