It is that time again for our annual auction.  This year we will be hosting our online auction from April 16th, 9pm thru April 29th at 9:00 PM CENTRAL TIME.  We hope you will join us in our efforts to raise money to support Highland Park Elementary.  All funds raised go to support Arts-Music-Science-theater residences, field trips, Chinese, technology, supplemental learning tools & supplies and much more.  

We are behind in our fundraising goals this year, and now more than ever we can use your support.  Many items are beginning at just half the retail value.  We realize that everyone wants a great deal, but please remember that the higher the bids, the more money goes to the school, so please remember that when making your bids, our students LOVE their fields trips and residencies, and they would not be possible without your help!  Remember too that by placing a bid over the retail value, any amount over the retail value is considered a tax deductible donation!  There are some of our Teacher Activities & Parties that are restricted to student's at HPE.  We tried to mention this in the descrption.  If you had a question about it let me know.  

We don't want you to miss out on your prized items!  When bidding, consider making the highest bid you are willing to pay for the item/items.  In the past, at the very end of the auction, the last 15 minutes, the site can get heavy traffic and may be slow to update, we don't want you to miss out on your items. The end time goes by the WebHosts clocks, which may be different than yours by a minute. So, please don't wait until the last 2-3 minutes to bid, some bidders were dissappointed last year when they missed out and the site appeared to close early.  Please remember that this is a piece of technology, and it is not perfect, so avoid the headache, and just place you Higest bids early and don't miss out on all this great stuff!
