Description

Antique Barleycorn Chess Set from the 1800's carved from bone. This classic design, similar to those owned by George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, can be viewed in the book THE ART OF CHESS by Colleen Schafroth, which is included with the chess set.

This is a complete set with it's own handmade wooden box.
A very few number of pieces have minor chips and scratches from normal use. Similar sets have sold for between $350-$1000.
