Family, Friends, Alumni and Community Great and Small,
In these difficult and uncertain times it's safe to say that we could all use some of the joy, love and fun that spring fair brings this time of year. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we are unable to gather but hope to have a healing community event when it is safe. Instead we are changing this year's theme to "Apart but Together" and ask you to help support the Rocky Mountain Spirit.
Fundraising is always hard but this year is especially challenging. Our community is facing unknown financial challenges and the future of our favorite local SF businesses is at the forefront of our minds. We are moving forward with our auction because ultimately by participating you are supporting our wonderful teachers who continue to be paid their salaries. You are supporting our scholarship program which our families will need more desperately. You are supporting our local businesses by bringing attention and accolades to what they do and the services they provide. We would encourage those who are able, to consider bidding on an item to gift a family in the community because we believe having something to look forward to brings hope and light in these trying times . As a bonus our auction will close on Mother's Day so you can get Mom a generous gift and support a good cause.
As this is an unusual year we would love your help in gently sharing our event with your family and friends on social media.
Bidding opens Monday April 27th at 9am and closes on Mother's Day Sunday May 10th at 12pm.
Any gift cards or certificates will be mailed and once shelter in place is lifted we will arrange for pick-up of any physical items from:
Rocky Mountain Participation Nursery School
2475 15th St (at Beaver)
San Francisco, CA 94114
Please note: due to the timely circumstances of this year, any winning bids will be more or less considered donations. We have done our best to check in with the businesses that have donated and eliminate any performances or camps that will likely be closed. Should any business close in the future or not reopen please know that your donation is greatly appreciated.
