The Cincinnati Fire Museum is celebrating 40 years of stewarding the rich history of local firefighting – Cincinnati was the first paid professional department in the nation! – and teaching critical life-saving fire safety information to the community, with an emphasis on children. The restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has unfortunately created a strong financial impact on the Fire Museum. The fundraiser we were hoping to have this fall highlighting a team of firefighter chefs, has now been replaced with an online event. While this event will look much different than what was initially planned, we are working hard to make it our biggest, best, most successful fundraiser to date as the need to sustain our non-profit has never been greater. The online auction will generate the largest portion of funds raised during this event and 100% of proceeds will directly benefit museum operations and programming in the coming year. The fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, November 14th from 7 - 8 p.m. on Facebook live. Tickets can be purchased at cincyfiremuseum.com/celebrate.
