Our annual Spot-A-Thon fundraiser is taking place in September. If we raise $75 per student or $150 per family we will be able to support all of the programs that make Lacamas a strong community and an enriching environment. This year we will have both direct drive donations and an online silent auction!

PALS is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All, or a portion, of your donation may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax adviser.

How do I donate?

Who should I ask to donate?

Friends, family, neighbors, and parent co-workers can be good people to ask for Spot-A-Thon pledges. You can ask in person, by phone, by email, by Facebook, by YouTube  – be creative! You can find an example of an “ask letter” at http://lacamaspals.weebly.com/sample-letter.html. 

Where does money raised by Spot-A-Thon go?

Donations from the Spot-A-Thon will support teacher grants, classroom needs, field trip scholarships, art programs, library, music, and other enrichment programs at Lacamas. These programs would not exist as they do without the support of this fundraiser!

What happens the day of Spot-A-Thon?

Tons of fun!! All Lacamas students take part in this event held at Lacamas Lake Elementary where they will participate in fun activities ranging from sporting events, art, music, reading and more.  Students will rotate through various stations during grade level time slots. Parents are welcome to come out and be part of the fun.  Be on the lookout for volunteer requests!

How else can I help?

We are accepting SILENT AUCTION ITEMS!  If you have something - anything! - you would like to donate, please contact us.  If you or someone you know owns a business and would like to donate a tax deductible prize or auction item, please contact our PALS Fundraiser Chair, Tracy at Tpaskowski@gmail.com . All businesses will receive recognition on the PALS website, school newsletter, Facebook posts, and printed material sent home with students. 

When are the student prizes handed out?

Smaller prizes are handed out weekly.  Larger prizes will be ordered after the event and typically arrive in 1-2 months.  Check out the prizes here.

What is the Human Car Wash?

The Human Car Wash will take place about a week after the Spot-A-Thon.  The whole school will come out and witness this fun event while students douce teachers with water as they ride by on scooters.  All students who raise $75 or more will receive an invite to participate in this fun event. Parents are welcome to come watch the fun.
