Michelle Handelman makes film installations, performances, and photographs that explore sexuality and existential questions of identity from a queer feminist perspective. She is a Guggenheim Fellow and her works have shown all over the world including Participant, Inc; Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum; Guangzhou Art Museum; Leslie Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art; Lincoln Center, REDCAT and many International Gay and Lesbian Film Festivals. She lives in Brooklyn.
