Description

In technology this year, 3rd and 4th grade students explored the origins of graffiti and how it has evolved over time. Next, students examined various examples of graffiti from the past and the present and complete the “I see… I think… I wonder” graphic organizer about their favorite piece. Then, students worked in small groups to discuss their personal views of graffiti, create a list of the pros and the cons of street art and formulate a brief opinion piece on this art form. Finally, students learned about the ten different styles of graffiti and created their own tags on the computer.

This tags were arranged into this one-of-a-kind Brooklyn-esque graffiti poster. The poster is already framed and ready to hang in you home or office.

Poster dimensions: 20x28 inches
