Traverse City Curling Club

Description

The Cherry Bombspiel is hosted by the Traverse City Curling Club at Centre ICE arena, the training camp home for the Detroit Red Wings. The Cherry Bombspiel is a 32-team three day event beginning at 8:30 am Friday April 26 and ending with the finals at 1:30pm on Sunday April 26. There is a 4 game minimum.

Winning Bidders will play alongside Gold Medalist Tyler George.

The Cherry Bombspiel is the premier spring bonspiel in the Midwest. We feature a full bar, with selections from several of our local breweries, wineries and distilleries. Our legendary Bombspiel Bash is held Saturday evening with live entertainment, spectacular food and lively fellowship.

Information regarding host hotel arrangements will be forwarded to winning bidders. Transportation services to and from airport and from hotel to arena can be arranged.

Winning Bidders will be required, at registration, to sign TC Curling Club waiver in order to participate.

Bidders must have some curling experience or have participated in a Learn to Curl class given by an official Curling Club prior to the day of the Cherry Bombspiel event. No instruction will be provided and for safety reasons, aspirational curlers will not be allowed on the ice at any time.
