Description

Join Capt. Steve Train, '85, on his Lobster Boat, the "Wild Irish Rose" for a sunset cocktail cruise around Casco Bay. Capt. Train can host up to six guests. Light appetizers and wine will be included, in addition to a $60.00 gift card to the Shipyard Brewing Tasting Room and Store so you can pick up your favorite craft beer for the excursion. Pick up and drop off will be in front of Luke's Lobster on the Portland Pier.

Cruise will take place, if it can be done safely, on a mutually agreed upon date in July or August of 2020.

Additional Information

Trip is for up to six guests, including the winner. The trip will be done on a mutually agreeable date between Capt. Steve Train and the winning bidder, during the months of July 2020 or August 2020 only.

Trip on the boat will be about two hours. Guests should arrive at the pier 15 minutes prior to planned departure.

Capt. Train reserves the right to end the excursion early if guests are behaving in a dangerous or unacceptable manner. Capt. Train reserves the right to cancel the scheduled trip and re-schedule for a new mutually agreed upon date in the event that he determines the weather makes the trip to dangerous.

In the event that restrictions in the State of Maine as related to the COVID-19 pandemic make the cruise outing in July or August of 2020 unable to occur, Capt. Train will honor the trip into the following summer (2021).

The winning bidder will be put directly into contact with the donor once payment has been received to being arranging for a date to use the trip. Gift certificates will be mailed to the donor or can be picked up at a scheduled time at Cheverus. Cheverus will coordinate the delivery of three (3) bottles of wine and light appetizers for the selected trip date.

No winning items will be provided until it is paid in full by credit card or check.

All auction sales are final and auction items are required to be paid for by May 31, 2020. This item is non-refundable, there are no exchanges or returns.

Cheverus will make every reasonable effort to get the item to the winner within a week after payment is received. However, pending ongoing social distancing measures and stay at home orders at the City, State or National level related to COVID-19, additional time may be required.
