Marie Reed Elementary School PTA presents our winter on-line auction!

¡La PTA de la Escuela Primaria Marie Reed presenta nuestra subasta de invierno en línea!

Marie Reed, a Title I school in the DC Public School system, is a very special place. We have children who are the second generation in their families to attend Marie Reed, and we have children whose families come from all over the world, with 37 different languages spoken at home. We come from widely different backgrounds, yet somehow manage to come together to form a close and supportive community for one another.  Most importantly, we have recently received word that we had one of the greatest improvements in test scores in the District of Columbia last year, with scores well above the average for the District. We’d like you to be a part of Marie Reed’s bright future.

Marie Reed es una escuela de DCPS muy especial. Tenemos familias de todas partes del mundo, que hablen mas de 37 diferentes idiomas y hay estudiantes quienes sus padres también asistieron la escuela. Todos somos de diferentes raíces, pero nos unimos para formar una comunidad cercana y solidaria entre nosotros. Nuestros estudiantes han tenido uno de los mejores resultados en los exámenes de DCPS y cada año seguimos mejorando. Queremos tu apoyo para el futuro de Marie Reed.

The goal of our PTA Auction is to provide supplemental classroom funds for teachers. These funds enable teachers to pay for supplies for special projects, like raising caterpillars in the classroom. They also cover transportation costs for field trips to farms, museums, and historic sites.

El objetivo de la subasta es aumentar fondos para las maestras de la escuela. Este dinero les ayudara en hacer proyectos especiales como criar mariposas en su salón. También podrán llevar a sus clases en buses a paseos por granjas, museos, y sitios históricos. 

Marie Reed PTA is a 501(c)(3) corporation.  All auction item winners must make arrangements for pickup of item in Adams Morgan. Gift certificates can be mailed.

La Asociación de Padres y Maestros de Marie Reed ES tiene un 501(c)(3) certificación. Todos los ganadores de la venta, van a tener que recoger su premio en Adams Morgan, pero las tarjetas de regalo llegaran por correo.
