Founded in 1994, Gulf Restoration Network is an environmental organization dedicated to empowering people to protect and restore the natural resources of the Gulf of Mexico region. In pursuit of this mission, we organize the public around key issues important to the health of the Gulf, build broad coalitions of groups and individuals calling for a healthy Gulf, watchdog governments and corporations to prevent pollution and destruction, advocate for policies that will improve the health of our communities and region, and, when necessary, take legal action to protect the Gulf. 

Through these and other means, GRN is working to ensure that the Gulf of Mexico continues to be a natural, economic and recreational treasure that is central to the livelihoods, cultures and heritages of the five Gulf states and several nations.
