2021 CSWA & HoD Virtual Auction

Thanks to the CSWA Board's contributions, HOD Committee Members, and other generous donors, we are launching the 2021 CSWA & HoD Virtual Auction beginning on Friday, October 15th, and ending on Sunday, October 24th (5:00 PM). 

This virtual auction will help continue the legacy of recognizing the social work profession as an essential service of the fabric of society.

Your ongoing support and participation ensure that we keep recognizing social work professionals throughout the state of California who are or have made a profound impact in the communities they serve and beyond. 

This important recognition helps recognize the social work profession as an essential part of the fabric of our society.  It honors and preserves the legacy of extraordinary individuals, and it is a tribute to the positive impact of the social work practice on an individual, community, and global levels.

 

HOW TO BID:

  1. At the top of this page, click on the red "register" button. You will be asked to enter a name, address, email, phone number and create a password (numbers and letters only).
  2. Verify your account in the email address you used.
  3. Log in at the top of this page and click on the green "view items" button under the small CSWA logo.
  4. Start placing bids on Friday, October 15th!
    • The auction closes on Sunday, October 24th.

  5. If you don't find any items you want to bid on, you can choose to donate directly to the CSWA/HoD by clicking on the Donate button below. Every dollar counts!

Please note that we will need to verify the highest bidder’s age at the closing of the auction before releasing any alcoholic content.

  1. We will ask you to send a scanned copy of your government issue identification to CSWA@usc.edu
  2. Payment needs to match the bidder's name.

About the California Social Welfare Archives (CSWA) and the California Social Work Hall of Distinction

CSWA is the only organization of its kind. For almost 40 years we have been dedicated to our mission to chronicle the advances of social welfare in California and honor social work pioneers who contributed to those advances.

CSWA acquires and preserves materials of historical significance and conducts and publishes oral history interviews with social welfare trailblazers. Our Hall of Distinction honors social workers who have made exceptional contributions to social welfare and publishes their legacies online. Our unique resources are accessed by researchers and students throughout the nation and by those examining our past in order to better address contemporary problems.

Based at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, our organization’s leadership is comprised of social work professionals from throughout the state who volunteer their time to execute the vision of our founders.   We encourage you to visit our websites and view videos of our events and interviews.
