On June 19th, the Worcester Bravehearts Baseball Team will celebrate an iconic Worcester landmark when they change the name of their team for one night only. Based on your votes, the Bravehearts will become either the "Table Talk Pies" or the "Coney Island Hot Dogs" for the entire night while wearing commemorative "Pie Guy" or "Hot Dog Guy" caps and jerseys during the game.
The Coney Island Hot Dogs uniform concept is below on the left and features the famous neon sign with a hand clenching a Coney Island frank on the front. Hot Dog Guy is "up" (get it?) on the cap with chili, mustard and even onion eyebrows. The Table Talk Pies uniform concept is below on the right and features the plaid Table Talk red tablecloth colors, a giant (yes, GIANT) actual Table Talk Pie on the front of the jersey that extends to the back, and Pie Guy on the hat with a dollop of whipped cream on his head.
The teams are lining up behind their favorite mascot already. Frank Foley and Jen Carter of the XLO Morning Show are joining in the campaign with Frank becoming an honorary captain of the Hot Dogs (who would've guessed?) and Jen becoming honorary captain of the Pies (after all, we believe she's a vegetarian).
All jerseys will be auctioned off for charity, but we won't know which team will appear for the first pitch until the starting lineups are announced on June 19th: Pies vs Dogs Night! Get your tickets for the game by clicking here and selecting "June 19th Pies vs. Dogs Jersey Auction."
So who do you want to see take the field? The Table Talk Pies, or the Coney Island Hot Dogs? Vote as often as you want up to 11:59 PM on June 18th!
