We are excited to announce our Fred Seidell Memorial ALS Texas Hold’em Tournament fundraising event for Emory ALS Research Center on Saturday, February 25, 2023. This event will feature celebrity host, Terance Mathis of the Atlanta Falcons.

The non-profit started by Janice Overbeck, JO Gives, was established in 2016 following Janice and her family’s loss of their father, Fred Seidell, to ALS.

Nick, Janice, and Stefanie, Fred’s children, to date have raised through the 501(c)(3) over $250,000 for the research team at Emory.

Dr. Jonathan Glass of Emory ALS Center meets with them once a year to update them on the progressing research and technology that their donations have been contributing towards. In addition the family is involved in a long term study, which includes some of Fred’s siblings as well.
