Mended Little Hearts is the largest Congenital Heart Disease/Defect (CHD) peer-to-peer network in the world. CHDs are the most common birth defect – affecting about 1 in every 110 (approximately 40,000) babies born in the U.S. each year. Congenital Heart Disease is often invisible except for a heart surgery scar that is typically covered with a shirt, yet children with severe CHD live with a life-threatening illness requiring lifelong care. CHD is still the leading cause of birth-defect related deaths in infants.

With your participation in this auction, we are able to raise funds towards purchasing personal care items and gifts for our Bravery Bag program; a care-bag program that is given to families staying in the Cardiac ICU of Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC and INOVA Fairfax.
