This is your chance to get up close and personal with Southampton’s professional orchestra SÓN and receive mentoring from expert musician and conductor Robin Browning at the nationally renowned concert hall Turner Sims Southampton on Sunday 29th September 2019.

The winning bidder will rehearse with Robin, the SÓN orchestra and other community musicians from 10.30 am and you will then conduct selected repertoire in an informal public performance starting at 4.30 pm.

The auction is raising funds for Turner Sims Community Partner Wessex Cancer Trust (https://www.wessexcancer.org.uk). Wessex Cancer Trust have five cancer support centres across the Wessex region, where they provide emotional, practical and physical support to local people affected by cancer. They also provide outreach counselling and therapies in hospitals, and transport services for patients travelling from the Isle of Wight and Channel Islands.
