Our annual art auction is an opportunity to purchase diverse and exciting work by over 80 contemporary artists donated to support Public Space One's 2022 programming and resources: exhibitions, residencies, performances, workshops, and collaborations, and including The Center for Afrofuturist Studies, the Iowa City Press Co-op, and the Media Arts Co-op.

Bid for extraordinary work in print, sculpture, painting, ceramics, and more, by artists from Iowa City and across the country!

All bidding is online and runs Thursday March 2 at 8:00pm through Saturday March 11 at 8:00pm central time.

For those in Iowa City, work will be on view at PS1 Close (538 S. Gilbert St.) daily from March 6-11. Join us for an opening reception Sat. March 4, 11a-2p and a closing reception Sat. March 11, 6:30-8:30p.

The artwork in this exhibition was donated as a fundraiser for Public Space One. In an effort to support artists directly, donating artists were given the option to receive up to 50% of the proceeds from their piece.

Item pickup and shipping will be available the week following the auction.

Submitting a bid is a binding agreement by the bidder to purchase the work if their bid is the highest placed. Payment may be made by check or credit card, and must be received within one week of notification. Winners are responsible for item pick-up or shipping fees.

PS1 reserves the right to add or remove an item from the auction without notice.
