Welcome to the Animation Guild’s 4th Annual Post-It Note Online Show and Auction! This auction is being held to support the activities of IATSE PAC.
The IATSE PAC is a voluntary non-partisan federal PAC that was established to support candidates for federal and state office who promote the interests of working men and women by working to:
When you purchase an item through though this auction, you will also be making a contribution to IATSE PAC. As a federal PAC, the IATSE PAC is restricted to accepting contributions from IATSE members, their immediate families, IATSE and its Local’s executive and administrative staff, their immediate families, who are U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens. If you win an item and it is determined that you are not eligible to participate in the auction, your bid(s) will be cancelled, and the next highest bidder who is eligible to participate will be the auction winner.
By bidding in this auction, you acknowledge that you are eligible to participate with IATSE PAC; that your winning bid is an IATSE PAC contribution; that the contribution is made based on your understanding that participation in IATSE PAC is voluntarily and not a condition of membership in the union or employment; that IATSE PAC is a federally registered political action committee, and the contributions it receives are used to support federal and state candidates and committees for the advancement of our Union; that no part of your contribution will be used to pay administrative expenses of the PAC; that contributions not connected to an auction item are voluntary and the contribution guidelines are a suggestion; that members may contribute more, less, or nothing without favor or fear of reprisal; that Federal law requires IATSE PAC to report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of individuals whose aggregate contributions exceed $200.00 in a calendar year; and that contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
More information about IATSE PAC can be found on the PAC website at www.IATSEPAC.net, or you can email polleg@iatse.net for the most current federal issue agenda. For more information about Local 839, please contact Leslie Simmons at leslie.simmons@tag839.org.
Thank you for your support!
