On September 12, 2019, Chris Groeneveld-Barry was tragically taken from us in a random act of violence in downtown Kingston.  This event not only impacted those who knew and loved Chris, but also our community as a whole.

On this first anniversary of his death, Chris' family and friends have chosen to continue on Chris' beautiful, gentle legacy with an online auction as eclectic as Chris was a man - with items donated from local artists, businesses, friends and family, to raise funds for the Chris Groeneveld-Barry Memorial Fund.

The Chris Groeneveld-Barry Memorial Fund was set up through the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area to support local arts organizations, selected by the family, that promote the principles of social inclusion and community engagement.

Items can be picked up from Whozagooddog at 33 Railway Street on Thursday, September 24th from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, September 27th from 10a.m. - 2p.m.  Please bring ID when picking up your winning items. Thank you to the wonderful team at Whozagooddog for the use of their location.
