We have a Passion fur Paws!

Robeson County Humane Society is the only state licensed, no-kill, non-profit animal rescue facility in Robeson County.  We are located at 3180 West 5th Street in Lumberton, N.C.  Our operating budget is approximately $160,000 per year. This includes all utilities, insurance, vetting costs, salaries, and supplies.

We work tirelessly to take in and save as many unwanted, abandoned, abused, or lost dogs and cats as possible in order to place them in a loving home with their fur-ever family.

Each animal that enters our doors receives vet care, vaccinations, food, shelter, socializing, and the most important medicine of all, Love.

Robeson County Humane Society promotes spay/neuter and responsible pet ownership. We have facilitated over 5,000 spay/neuters through our state assisted program.

Since December 1990 we have operated as a registered 501c3 that exists primarily on donations, fundraising, adoption fees, private endowments, grants, and volunteers. We are not affiliated with any government agency nor do we receive federal funding. We are not associated with the ASPCA or the National Humane Society and receive no funding from them.
