ABOUT THE ARTIST: Melissa Barbee
Melissa is a Colorado native who grew up wanting to become a veterinarian, but life circumstances led her instead to art. Throughout her creative journey she has explored many different mediums including photography, sculpture and ceramics. She's currently working in both graphite and paint and her love of animals is still evident in her choice of subjects. A portion of all her sales are donated to no kill animal shelters throughout Colorado.
